As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. What does Mike want you to know about his property?
This is a mountain retreat. You can see the ocean, but it’s a 15 minute drive down the mountain to PCH. There is public access to the beach about 15 minute away. The nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away, so remember to bring all of the groceries you need for your stay.
What are the accommodations like?
This is essentially a private tiny house resort. You will be renting all three tiny homes and have access to all the wonderful outdoor amenties. Perfect for a group that wants to vacation together but have privacy. There are three beds and one comfy couch. This makes for very comfortable sleeping for five guests. We have five single camping mattresses that can be placed inside or outside making 10 the maximum number of guests.

“Mike was very responsive and friendly and we had a great three day stay at Mar Vista Marvelous – it is a truly unique property high up in the Santa Monica mountains with endless space outdoors and enough space indoors. The tiny houses are very cute and beautifully constructed and outfitted. The pool and hot tub with a panoramic ocean and mountain view are the real standouts though and we spent hours in there enjoying ourselves endlessly. There was more traffic past the property than I expected but the location is still quite remote. Yet our T-Mobile cell phones had full coverage and the wifi worked fine for most purposes which was great since we can’t go “offline” even if we want to. :)” Elisabeth
