Magnolia is our tiny home in Wildwood, Georgia, where you can feel the wonder of the world. Located on an acre of land near the base of Lookout Mountain, our country house is tucked away among leafy trees, a grassy meadow and mountain views that’ll make your heart smile. Here, take a nap in the afternoon sunshine. Explore our peaceful countryside. And soak beneath the stars in our hot tub for two.
As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. This new series of Envy will feature these tiny house/vacation rental love children. We hope you like it!

What does Owen want you to know about his rental home?
“Hi, I am Owen!
I’m originally from Chattanooga, and spent a few years moving from Atlanta, NYC, and Tybee Island. After coming back to Chattanooga and experiencing the vibrant outdoor, food + beverage, and art scene, I knew I was ready to call Chattanooga home once again! Don’t be intimidated by all the options of things to do and places to eat, I’m happy to provide recommendations! When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me in my flower and vegetable gardens or playing with my dogs Tessa, and Ginger.
As a lifelong hospitality professional, you’ll find my home stocked for all your needs. I look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible while you explore this beautiful city!”
What are the accommodations like?
Inside, our tiny home has lots of homespun touches and natural light. Just inside the front door, the kitchen has a farmhouse sink, full-size refrigerator, portable induction stovetop and an extra large toaster oven (you can even bake a whole chicken!). Dishware and cookware? Check. There’s also a lovely dining nook that looks out towards the neighbor’s pasture where you can watch miniature goats graze.
The living room has pine and poplar wood walls, floors and ceilings that evoke a cozy cabin (this is carried out through the rest of the house). Unwind on our gray sofa and watch movies on the Smart TV. We also have a leather ottoman and throw blankets for next-level comfort. A few steps away is the bathroom area with a shower, luxury towels, toilet and vanity with a sink.
Upstairs, our loft bedroom has a king bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and the comfiest memory foam mattress. The four windows here have canvas curtains so you can get a wonderful night’s sleep. This loft space is accessible by a spiral ladder in the kitchen.
What do others have to say about their experience?
“My husband and I spent three nights at Owen’s place. We had a wonderful time and everything was accurate to the listing. The tiny home was clean and intentionally thought out to make great use of the space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to make a meal (even though we didn’t make use of it). The steps up to the loft bed were sturdy and comfortable. We really enjoyed the secluded and peaceful setting. It was a short drive to tourist attractions in Chattanooga and the surrounding area, but it felt secluded and tucked away to enjoy quiet evenings together. We would love to visit again!” Kelley
