Located only a few minutes away from Lake Wedowee. Close to Heflin , Oxford and Talladega.
As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. Lake Wedowee is a beautiful lake with mountain views and great fishing . Downtown Wedowee offers great shopping, restaurants ( Miss Amber’s ) my favorite and wine tasting at Lake Wedowee Winery. Take a scenic drive or hike at the Talladega National Forest. Cheaha State Park for the best hiking in the state of Alabama. We would love to help our guest in celebrating any special moments , birthdays , anniversary , honeymoon. We can decorate ,order flowers, order cakes and have them at the cabin when you arrive.
What are the accommodations like?
Welcome to IN THE WOODS , a unique cargo container (160 sq feet ). This tiny homes features a small kitchen with a mini retro fridge, coffee maker ( coffee included) , Air Fryer , a daybed ( queen bed) and a full bathroom with tile shower . Located outside is a fire pit with firewood and gas grill . We have limited Wi-fI and no cable . We do have a TV and DVD player with movies . The home is suited for 2 guest. The rental is NOT suitable for children under the age of 13 , due to the size and rooftop deck .
