The Tiny House Village at Sunshine Key offers a unique way to experience the beauty of the Florida Keys. Located on Ohio Key, these colorful tiny houses are just 30 miles from Key West and minutes from Bahia Honda State Park. Each house is full of personality and charm, and makes for the ultimate relaxation destination.
As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. This new series of Envy will feature these tiny house/vacation rental love children. We hope you like it!
Sunshine Key Tiny House Village : Florida Keys
What do the owners want you to know about their property?
Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina is a unique resort with adjoining marina, which offers vacationers unprecedented access to a tropical island environment. Located on the 75-acre island of Ohio Key, it provides the perfect getaway for ocean activities or relaxing at the water’s edge. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico and bask in all the Keys have to offer. We are featuring one ofthe homes on this property, The Kai. A life without water is like a life without air for Kai. A fan of all things water sport related, Kai spends his waking hours out on the waves and in the sand. When he’s not teaching others to surf, paddleboard, or kayak, he’s out bettering these skills for himself. Only breaking for a quick lunch under the shade of a palm tree, Kai likely spends more time in the water than on land. He comes by it honestly, with a family full of surfers, fishermen, and sailors, Kai’s favorite family memories happen on the beach or in the ocean and he hopes to create the same love for the outdoors for everyone he meets.

What do others have to say about their experience?
“Glamping in the Florida Keys was an exciting new way to experience a familiar destination. It was truly a unique experience to be nestled right in the natural, tropical environment while still having the comfort and luxuries of a hotel room. Watching the colors of the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, and waking up to views of the tranquil Key waters from my Tiny House’s queen-sized bed made for memories I’ll never forget, and an option that I would recommend over a traditional hotel to anyone considering alternatives or looking for a novel way to travel.” Mona Corona : Blogger
