Nestled in a beautiful aspen forest on over 100 acres with 100+ mile views & over 3 miles of private hiking trails. This tiny cabin sits on a true Colorado mountain paradise! At nearly 10,000 feet in elevation, the property has some of the best views you’ll find on Airbnb! Massive aspen trees blanket the property, Pike’s Peak towers above to the North, sunny meadows and 100+ mile views to the south. Just 5 min from a lake, too! Located 2.5 hrs from Denver and an hour from Colorado Springs.
As the tiny house movement has built more momentum, we’ve seen them popping up everywhere. Lately one of the most exciting collaborations has been between the tiny house and the short-term rental market. We all love a good Airbnb or VRBO but now we have the option of living out our tiny house dream even if it’s just for a weekend. This new series of Envy will feature these tiny house/vacation rental love children. We hope you like it!

What are the accommodations like?
The House- The Tiny House offers a unique off-grid, yet very comfortable experience. Nestled in a beautiful mature aspen forest, the tiny house gives you an escape from everything without sacrificing the comforts of a house. It features a queen size bed, fold out futon, heater, solar power and a 2-burner gas stove top. Enjoy your morning coffee outside on the deck and enjoy evenings by the propane fire pit while you gaze at all the stars. NOTE: This site has no cleaning fee but is self-service. It has some limited amenities due to the remote off-grid location. Basically, we provide the beautiful property, structure, heat, and power…You bring the gear and amenities, clean the house and take your trash with you. Please see “other things to note” or “additional rules” sections for more details.
What do others have to say about their experience?
“The Quaky Flats Tiny Home is a nice little retreat nestled into a beautiful aspen grove. We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed relaxing in the hammock, exploring the trails around the property and when the weather turned stormy, played board games inside. The loft bed was comfy and we loved the view of the aspens from the bed. The tiny home has lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and bring in natural light. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/plates/bowls/silverware etc for simple meals. We brought our own cooler since there is no refrigerator. There was enough space to comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 dogs. The furniture and way it’s been set up really make good use of the space. If you are looking for an off-grid glamping getaway, this is a lovely spot!” Nicole
